What is “Old Friends Japan”?
Old Friends Japan is an organization that accepts, cares for, fosters, and utilizes retired racehorses.
Our goal is to create a world where horses, people, and towns can create the future together.
The horses at Old Friends Japan are living a carefree and healthy life in the quiet environment of the Hiruzen Plateau.
Some of the horses have retired from all activities and are enjoying grazing with other horses.
Some are working hard to retrain as dressage horses.
Some horses have leg problems and spend their days resting.
Even after their retirement, horses are still beautiful, shining beings that touch people's hearts.

We, Old Friends Japan, are an organization dedicated to providing retired racehorses with a safe and secure environment and time to enjoy their days in good health.
